Margaret Shrewsbury

I am so happy to meet you. I became a certified coaching professional in 2023, and I launched 1000 Lumens Coaching in 2024. My life has had some challenges, and I was seeking positive change. One of the most transformative actions I've taken in my life was to take an honest look at where I was and where I wanted to go. On this journey I found my core values, my faith, my hope, my health, my heart and my peace. This journey continues and I have a heart for those struggling with life's issues as I have. I have learned to listen with my heart because sometimes my brain gets in the way! That is the reason I fell in love with holistic coaching. After 75 hours of course work and mentorship I received my certification from the Holistic Coach Training Institute in 2023. My previous work was owning and running a successful small business for 30 years. Prior to that I was an educator. In April 2025 I earned the next level of certification with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
